Microsoft also wants to be a major company in the segment of the Internet of Things. That is why so today announced the acquisition of Solair, a company based in Italy and founded in 2011, specialized in technological solutions related to the Internet of Things. Neither Microsoft nor Solair have shared some information about the terms of the acquisition agreement.
Solair and offers its services through its own cloud of Microsoft, Azure, and the acquisition of the same allow Microsoft outbid cloud services for the Internet of Things (Azure IoT Suite) that provides businesses with the integration of its technology. So far it is not known out as such integration will take, only Microsoft's commitment to publicize the details of how Solair will help "build the intelligent cloud in the future."
