The singer debuted her new song "Formation", which refers to Hurricane Katrina and racial conflicts in the country

Singer Beyoncé today introduced a new single, "Formation" , a day before their performance by the group Coldplay rest of the Super Bowl , the final of the National Football League (NFL).

Beyoncé announced the release of the single, which is accompanied by a video, through its website and its official Instagram account.

Both the song and the video are available on the platform of music "streaming" Tidal, owned by rapper and producer Jay-Z , Beyonce's husband.

The video evokes the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina, which devastated much of New Orleans in August 2005 and also the recent tensions in the US between police and the black community.

The Super Bowl, which celebrates its 50th edition this year, will draw on Sunday some 70,000 people Stadium Levi's Santa Clara (California), in the Silicon Valley, and the rest of the game between the Carolina Panthers and the Broncos Denver act Beyonce and Coldplay.
